Jesmonite

The team at Simplicity have worked with Jesmonite since its inception in the 1980s. In 2004, Simplicity began working with Jesmonite on a larger scale, developing new products for the construction industry with added versatility to the architectural world. Through rigorous weather and strength testing, we have worked together to allow the finish to be used on exterior and interior facades.

This has since brought to life a range of products with boundless finishes to the market, alongside completely customisable ranges. We have held a close relationship with the Jesmonite team since. We continue to work with them today, innovative products to further improve the industry.

What is Jesmonite?

Jesmonite has the traits of traditional GRC with greater flexibility, meaning we can achieve an array of complex shapes, bespoke forms and all sizes.

Compatible with GRC in that it meets regulations

But its adaptable in that it can be lighter in weight than traditional GRC

Jesmonite is a limitless, versatile material that can be used to replicate the appearance and texture of any surface finish. Jesmonite can be used to achieve historical finishes to match facades on heritage buildings. Alternatively, it can be used to create grand innovative designs. We believe that with Jesmonite, those designs that were previously unachievable can now be obtained.

Jesmonite has all the flexibility of traditional GRC, meaning we can achieve an array of complex shapes, bespoke forms and all sizes including more traditional rectangular panels. It has the added benefit of being able to have any surface finish, colour, or texture without requiring any additional treatments such as painting.
